About the company
TALPA, spol.s r.o. is located in the territory of broken terrain of the Podkrkonoší Region (at the foothills of the Giant Mountains – Krkonose), approximately 10 km southwest of Trutnov, at the outskirts of Pilníkov City.
The company was established in 1992 and since its foundation is engaged in the production of wooden packages. Manually nailed palettes were the first products of the company. The following period is characterised by gradual enlargement of production areas, production program and the development of production technology. At present time the company besides standardised returnable palettes produces also atypical single palettes and other wooden packages. Technological equipment thus enables both automated production of pallets on nailing automats and specific job-order manufacture. The production of palette cuts is executed on automatic cross-cut lines.

The company was certified in 2004 for the quality system ISO 9001:2000. The acquired certificate gives clear information about the level of management and quality in the company.
